  • Billing information (processed securely through Stripe)

Business Data

When you use CrewKPI, we store the data you create, including:

  • Financial data (invoices, payments, expenses)

Payment Information

For payment processing, we work with Stripe. Stripe collects and processes:

  • Bank account information (for payouts)
  • Business verification documents
  • Payment transaction data

CrewKPI does not store credit card numbers or sensitive payment information. This is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI-compliant.

Usage Information

We automatically collect information about how you use CrewKPI:

  • Log data (IP address, browser type, device information)
  • Feature usage and interaction patterns
  • Error reports and performance data

This helps us improve the service and fix issues.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide the service: Process your data, manage your account, and deliver features
  • Process payments: Facilitate payments through Stripe Connect
  • Improve the service: Analyze usage to make CrewKPI better
  • Communicate with you: Send important updates, support responses, and service notifications

Stripe (Payment Processing)

When you enable payments, we share necessary information with Stripe to set up your account and process transactions. Stripe's privacy policy applies to how they handle this data.

Service Providers

We work with trusted service providers (like hosting, email, and analytics services) who help us operate CrewKPI. These providers are contractually required to protect your data and only use it for the services we've requested.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CrewKPI, our users, or others.

Business Transfers

If CrewKPI is acquired or merged, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We'll notify you of any such change.

5. Data Security

We take security seriously and use industry-standard measures to protect your data:

Payment data is handled by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified—the highest level of security certification for payment processors.

You have the right to:

  • Update your data: Edit your account information and business data at any time
  • Delete your data: Request deletion of your account and data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Opt out of marketing: Unsubscribe from promotional emails (service emails will still be sent)
  • Opt out of SMS: Reply STOP to any text message from CrewKPI to stop future texts from that program. You may also email privacy@crewkpi.com

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services to you. If you cancel your account, we may retain certain information for:

Payment records may be retained longer as required by financial regulations.

8. Children's Privacy

CrewKPI is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

9. International Data Transfers

CrewKPI is operated in the United States. If you're using CrewKPI from outside the U.S., your data may be transferred to and processed in the U.S.

By using CrewKPI, you consent to this transfer. We take steps to ensure your data is protected regardless of where it's processed.

10. SMS and Text Messaging Program

CrewKPI may send SMS text messages to business contacts as part of our B2B sales and outreach program, and CrewKPI subscribers may use in-app phone and messaging features to communicate with their own customers. This section describes how we handle mobile phone numbers in connection with text messaging.

CrewKPI outbound business SMS

We may contact business prospects at phone numbers obtained from publicly available business listings (such as Google Business Profile), inbound inquiries, referrals, or verbal consent obtained during a business call. Messages are one-to-one business outreach about CrewKPI and may include introductions, follow-ups, scheduling, and responses to inquiries.

Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies. For CrewKPI outbound outreach, you may receive a small number of messages over a short period (typically fewer than five messages per outreach sequence unless you continue the conversation). Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your text or data plan.

Opt-out and help

You can opt out of CrewKPI outbound text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you opt out, we will send a one-time confirmation and will not send further marketing or outreach texts to that number unless you opt back in. Mobile number sharing

CrewKPI does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers collected for our text messaging programs with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We share phone numbers only with service providers that help us deliver messages (such as Twilio) and only as needed to operate the program, comply with law, or enforce our terms.

Subscriber SMS features

If you use CrewKPI's phone system to message your customers, you are responsible for obtaining any required consent, honoring opt-out requests, and complying with applicable messaging laws and carrier rules. Customer phone numbers you upload or use through the platform are handled under this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email or through the service.
